My name is Les Grattan owner / operator with many years of experience in the industry and family owned here in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Grattan Pest Solutions was formed in June 2005. The company is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and serves both North and South Carolina in residential, commercial and retail pest prevention and treatment.  The company also works diligently to serve the needs of realtors and real estate investors in the Charlotte Metro area, including Ballantyne, Matthews, Monroe, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, University, Concord, Huntersville, Lake Norman and Gastonia.

Our pest Prevention service takes many forms. Reporting on structural maintenance / repairs, exclusion and sanitation along with targeted and precise applications are used only when necessary in response to detailed inspection and monitoring. This is a more intelligent approach to pest prevention in keeping your home place – safe, yet highly effective. All material and methods of work will have EPA approval.

Grattan Pest Solutions provides several choices of termite protection and general pest programs.  I’m an accredited wood-destroying insect inspector through the North Carolina Pest Control Association. We use only the highest quality products available in all our applications. Termites will and can go undetected in a structure for several years until you see signs of swarming termites (reproductive caste of the colony) emerging from a floor and or a wall in the structure of your home. The damaging effects of termites come from the worker caste of the colony that live in the ground.  You never hear and usually never see them (unless you’re dismantling parts of the structure) until it’s too late.

Kenneth Dowdle - Kenneth  has worked for Grattan Pest Solutions since 2005.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology at UNC-Charlotte.  He is certified in termite and general pest.

Kevin Smith - Kevin was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended high school at Charlotte Christian and graduated college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a b.s. in meteorology. Kevin has  been employed with Grattan Pest Solutions for 6 years and he is certified in termite and general pest.
